Jonathan Lei (b. 2001, Guangdong, China) is a photography artist working between the United Kingdom and China. His work focuses on quiet and often overlooked moments in everyday life, using photography as a way to reflect on memory, family, and the shifting sense of identity in a rapidly changing world. Guided by a contemplative and intimate visual approach, he is interested in emotional traces that exist between presence and absence, personal history and collective experience. His photographs have been exhibited internationally in the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, and Montenegro, forming an ongoing exploration of belonging, time, and lived experience.
